During take off the propellers are faced upwards to generate lift force to lift the aircraft off the ground like a helicopter.
During transition the propellers are tilted forward to accelerate the aircraft forward and also to increase the altitude.
When the propellers are tilted fully forward the aircraft accelerate to the cruising speed and fly on its own wings
